Summer Programming 2025
WE ARE RECRUITING TEAMS FOR SUMMER 2025!
Last summer was incredible. Over 125 children and residents from the community attended Bible Club and felt loved – the kind of love that reflects how God loves them. For eight weeks, children were cherished and taught about Jesus and His character.
The most beautiful part of summer is watching our amazing volunteers engage with the children. Through our 9 summers serving in the Cochran community, over 1,500 volunteers have poured themselves out for kids who need extra love and attention. Whether it's putting kids on shoulders, tossing the football, or making bracelets – it all matters. In a community often overshadowed by violence, you bring light and joy for an entire summer, transforming the atmosphere of the neighborhood.
When our church teams leave, children often ask when they'll be back because of the relationships formed while serving with UrbanReachSTL. As we prepare for Summer 2025, we're expectant of the impact this ministry will continue to have, but we need you!
Below is the Summer 2025 schedule. If you're interested in serving with UrbanReachSTL, please fill out the Team Application Form on the SUMMER MISSION TEAMS page. For any questions, contact Tina Squires at tina@urstl.org. You will receive a Team Packet once your application is submitted. This is a perfect opportunity for youth groups, and we expect your team to leave with a deeper understanding of those who live in hard places and God’s pursuit of them.
We are excited and expectant to see what the Lord will do through our teams this coming summer. We can't do this work without you!

M-F 10:00-12:30 pm Bible Club
Monday: Afternoon Service Project (1:00-3:00pm)
Tuesday: Mission Team Worship & Prayer Afternoon (1:00-3:00pm)
Wednesday: Field Trip Afternoon for Community Kids (1:00-3:00pm); Community-wide BBQ (5:00-7:00pm)
